Teresa L. Knott, MLS, MPA, AHIP, FMLA serves as the associate dean, VCU Libraries, and Director, VCU Health Sciences Library. She joined Virginia Commonwealth University in March 2009 and from July 2020-August 2021 served as interim dean and university librarian. Previously, she held positions at the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Health Sciences and Human Services Library as the deputy director and at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Library of the Health Sciences in El Paso, Texas and Lubbock, Texas as an associate director and reference librarian. Teresa earned her MLS from the University of Oklahoma and her MPA from the University of Texas at El Paso. Teresa is a Fellow of the Medical Library Association (MLA) and served as its 2016-2017 MLA president. She is particularly interested in issues related to professional and leadership development.
